The student organization, Equity in Architecture at Georgia Tech, would like to invite you to a forum discussion on Thursday, February 28th at 6:00PM in the Reinsch-Pierce Family Auditorium in the College of Design, Architecture East Building.
The Forum is a student-led discussion on the importance of equity, power, identity, and inclusion in architecture. Current statistics indicate that the diversity of gender, race, nationality, and socio-economic status present in the academic student body will be dramatically diminished during our tenure within the architectural profession. To address this lack of representation, the Forum will be framed around a keynote lecture followed by a panel discussion addressing this lack of representation. Conversation will be focused on creating actionable steps towards a more equitable present and future in architecture.
We hope you can join us! If you have any questions, free to email us at eqiagt@gmail.com.
